What a fantastic Games they've been.
All the talk of Legacy and Inspire a generation, here's an idea, considering we all helped pay for it through our taxes, we should get a referendum on what should be done with the site. Dont sell it to a football team or change it to low cost living.
Keep the entire site as a Centre of Excellence for U.K. Sport and Sport Science, Welfare etc, use the stadium for Athletics.

What a way to tail the games...
The inspiring 22yo gets silver in the very last event - the grueling women's modern pentathlon!
29 17 19 = 65
18 more - a whopping 38% increase - than in 2008. Well done Sport UK.
I'm more than happy to keep funding with my not inconsiderable £24 per month on Lotto and Euro tickets, if this level of success can continue...
Now looking forward to the closing ceremony wind-down... But I fear I'll end up with Olympics cold turkey - been on a veritable 'high' these past 2 weeks.

My BBC SPotY forecast is:
1) Mo Farah
2) Jess Ennis
3) Ben Ainslie
...And that means there's no room for double gold medalists, Chris Hoy and Laura Trott!!!
An 'embarrassment of riches' springs to mind.

It's been brilliant! Lovely to see people enjoying themselves, and being NICE to each other. Been a fantastic couple of weeks.

I'm quite happy that my 80 pence per year contribution since 1996 has been spent so well.
Absolutely brilliant few weeks, and it seems to have lit a renewed enthusiasm to sport for my 6 year old son.
Of that,I'm thankful.

I like many others wasn't really interested in the Olympics until it started but have to say it has been superb all the way through. I have been glued to the TV for 2 weeks.
Well done team GB

Probably will be Mo as it's the BBC, and no disrespect to him but I would have liked to see Wiggo win.
