Well done Murray! He absolutely destroyed him which I wouldn't have a put penny on to happen.

Absolutely sensational and thoroughly entertaining match! Murray boy dominated right the way through. So pleased that he totalled Federer in just about 2 hours! Federer does have very silky looking hair. He should model for Head & Shoulders.

Haha. It is really good for him, and team GB, obviously. You can imagine how a sportsman might get downhearted after putting all his effort into something like Wimbledon only to be beaten again, but this win should have him in the mindset to get straight back into the game.

I think he uses the same grease as Italian and Argentinian football players.

I think he does indeed do H&S ads(?)

I can't believe the Muzza gold! The way he played was amazing. That must do wonders for his confidence going forward. Could this be a turning point in his career?

C'mon Muzza (and Laura), gold no.2 please....

Good start for Jason Kenny in the men's sprint

Still expecting a 1-2 gold and silver on Tuesday in the men's triathlon with the Brown-Lee brothers.

But Federer's hair is fluffy and shiney; as if all the grease has been washed out, and every hairstrand has a thin film of a good conditioner on it. He keeps flicking his fringe like a girl, which he needs to get chopped off. That is a huge distraction for him and for his spectators.

Can't believe you missed out on such a good match, Duncan. I thought Federer did give his best but Andy was in a far superior form, and played proactively. And he won it. Just WOW!

I'm watching but that 'hoooooh' from her is very annoying indeed.

Not happy about that pair taking the second set.

Come on, Robson and Murray!

I make that 3 golds, 3 silvers and a bronze today, thus far. Is that right?

I don't think so.

If Murray had better and more experienced player with him, gold would have been possible. In fact he alone could have eaten both greenies with his killer service alone, but he had to have a partner for Mixed Doubles. Not that he didn't make mistakes, but Laura made more of the silly ones. Anyway, as Tennis is over, I can get on with other things now.

Too many unforced errors from Robson. No hard feelings, but I'd be pîssed off if I were Murray.

Laura done those 2 silly DFs when it really mattered. The first one (the very first point of the '3rd set') set the tone...

Not as much as the Aussies! 1 gold thus far! (But lots of silvers).

They must be hating it.

The figures on the sync'd swimmers are mental!

Ridiculous 'sport' though. But worth keeping in for the aired ***/gusset shots.
