I'l take a punt here and say Ravi wont be available for the 3rd one dayer, not because of family reasons, but because he's **** !!

Neither will Strauss by the sounds of it.

Loses number 1 status in Test and ODI, fall out with KP and now looks like he's going to resign

I don't actually want Cook to be Captain though, I'd rather he scored runs. Still as Captain Ravi still stands a chance

Certainly looks like Strauss is stepping down

Whenever we get into a good position the wheels always fall off for ENG

Cook is the natural successor, is this plan to get KP back in ?

It would be wrong if it was.

It will have had some say in his decision without a doubt, whether he admits that or not is another matter, waitfor the book

Thanks Straussy, I still remember his debut and thought this guy could do 10 years at the top, 18 months shy of the 10 but he served us well

I'd best mention Ravi's figures for "7", well done sunshine good bowling although Du Plessis absolutely donated his wicket, probably bamboozled by Ravi's action so much so he momentarily forgot how to bat

At least we still have Bell...... Oh hold on a second......damn

Is this the same ODI you didn't think Ravi would be playing

At the rate we're giving away wickets it's safe to say we've lost this one too

So what do you reckon KP is saying this morning?

"I'm sorry, I've been a massive tool and I've let everyone down, myself most of all. All I want tondo is play for England and I'll do nothing to get back"

Or

"I'm the best, I'm not coming back till you beg me. Oh, and I want to play IPL whenever I want."

I *think* he may have done enough to keep his place. If he has then it will have been a close thing. I think that it will do him the world of good to have the confidence to know that he isn't always playing for his place. That puts a lot of pressure on you alone let alone the opposing team.

Also, it must get right on your **** that no matter how well you play your place is always at risk but then Bell can F*ck it up time and time again and never gets dropped

In all seriousness Bell's F*ck up's have been few and far between in the past 2 years, even the Aussies have stopped taking the urine out of him.

Let's be honest I was in the same camp as you a couple of years back, couldn't understand why he was in the team other than his technical ability, got to hand it to him he came through it, maybe Ravi need's to have a chat with Bell ?

Hopefully we'll finish this sorry summer off with another one day series win today.

My only concern with our opening 3 batsmen is if Bell goes early we are left with Cook and Trott and they get all defensive and plod along for 5 to 10 overs, which can have serious consequences on any total.

Enjoy
