I'm glad the guy is ok but what was that all about? How do you just leave your family for days on end without telling them where you are.

It is good but he is unaware anyone would be looking for him. When police arrived he was sat there with wine. He is still there and not even contacted his wife or kids. Well he hadn't earlier. May of now.
We still not 100% sure what going on in his head.

I just couldn't being myself to leave my family on their own.

 

Hmm. We had someone going mising around here in one of the nearby workplaces. He was apparently all fine before, but in last few months, he had started to complain of stress. No one is sure why, as according to his work colleagues, his work was just like any other work, nothing extraordinarily stressful. No problems in his family life either. Happily married with older kids and all that. He took a long stress leave from his work, and he did go back for a month or so, but then back on stress leave. One day, he went missing and got found alive for the first time around. Then in June 2012, he went missing for the second time, and this time, he was found dead. He had committed suicide for no known reasons to anyone on this earth. Harsh.
