No should get banned for such a stupid thing. Next time before jumping on the boat should have a good look I'm what kind of modern world we living in and treat everyone with a little bit of respect . Regard the brainwashed dude, there are things like karma in life, plus the kind of don't live too long anyway , they destroy themselves in every way physical or mental. I grew up in the country were no black/asian man lived , but I learned how to treat everyone the same. And it still amazes me , how the hell in such an international country there's still **** loads of narrow minded people.

Well this is what he said. Sounds like a stupid rant to me. He shouldn't slag off or wish death on the soldiers yet he does have a point with regards to the real victims of the disgraceful war who do not have a voice. In fact it is the British army who actively make peace and try to help the real victims so he should bare this in mind before slagging them off. Please note British does not include American army.

As for do we want people like this in the country i say why not? It seems like he needs a little education as to what the Army are really about and the work they do. (not including gov false flag ops as the army are often victims themselves. Anyway that's another thread.)

Well another example would be when a small minority of British soldiers carried out shameful acts such as urinating on the Qur'an, raping girls young as 12 and many other disgusting deeds. These acts carried out by some of the sick minded soldiers has affected the minds of many young Muslim youth & this dude is a great example. He thinks that all the soldiers/army are out to do the same. Many other younger Muslims think the same way and its mainly due to the few indivdual soldiers that have set this example for the entire British army.

So really and truely he has stated the true facts but interperated it in the wrong
way.

This poor thing is one of God's creations! How dare you mock his looks and compare him to this ugly twonk in the story!

Not sure I'm following you here. Are you saying that two wrongs make a right?

If you follow this line of thinking we'll be going back to the dawn of time to figure out who wronged who first and point the finger at them.

Leaving no one accountable for their actions, as it was always someone elses fault.

A few soldiers have NOT 'set this example for the entire British army'

Bit out of order. Most decent folk won't like what a tiny minority did anymore than you. To say that's the standard of the entire Army is wrong, and if that's how you feel it's no wonder plonkers like this guy talk the ****e they do.

So, to clarify... Someone said something offensive on a website and it's a criminal matter ?

Horrible little ****** or not that's **** - this sort of thing ought to be dealt with by a good shoeing in a carpark, not the courts

also - in response to an earlier post;
We don't have a legal right to freedom of speech in the UK - it's a common misconception born of watching to much american television

I've deep concerns about the man's comments being made criminal. Not a good outcome for anyone who objects to censorship.

Indeed - perhaps a nice pair of concrete boots too for Mr Ahmed?
What they should do is really make an example of one of these cases.
I'd say in the USA that ***** would have been locked up for comments like that.

I know where you're coming from, but it's a very difficult decision as to how to treat comments like this. Currently if you stir up hatred towards a section of society you can be charged with breaking the law. On the face of it that is a good thing, but how far does it extend and at what cost to the notion of being able to speak freely... I don't have the answers to that, but I do know whatever the answer is it is not simple.

Unpleasant comments but I have seen much worse and if they were on his personal facebook status update entirely his prerogative to make them. I cannot see what law he has broken and this just looks like a way to increase the scope of the police state labour started to build in a publicly acceptable manner.

Agreed

If these nasty comments are a 'criminal act' then some on here need to start self-censoring their own hate filled rants.

Its being accountable for what you do and say in public, and the open parts of the internet is a public place.

I think its only right that a person is allowed to say what they like on the internet with the full knowledge that they are fully accountable for what they do or say. In other words you are responsible for your own actions.

Thats why I don't typically make a point of removing certain posts...I'd rather not censor someone, instead, I rather make them publically aware what they said is out of order. And if in extreme cases the authorities see it fit to take it futher, then the legality of the content of their posts is on their own head, not mine. Also the forum membership gets to put that person straight and give the person the chance to learn from that. A person typically learns nothing by censoring or removing content ad hoc. In my view, removing said posts gives them a form of protection from the authorities for their inappropriate views.

I think you will find it was American Soldiers peeing on corpses and burning Quorans not British Soldiers. Also where is your evidence about British Soldiers raping 12 yr old girls?

Just google away at your hearts content. However if said soldiers did do rape then they are anything but a soldier and should be dealt with accordingly.

Also don't confuse British with American soldiers. Massive difference.

Indeed, it does appear to be the typical acts you hear in teh media of US army jugheads.

And whilst the UK are allies of the US, don't think for one second that nobody is cynical of their actions in global conflicts.

There are many areas, particularly rural areas all across the UK (including England) where wooden poles are used to carry overhead electricity cables.

Have you ever been to the UK?
