Not that far I went up to Manchester to pick up a front bumper, granted I left in the early hours of a Sunday morning but it only took me just over 3 hours in driving time.
From where you are : up to Aberystwyth, A44, A483, across to Chester and then Manchester easy peasy.

Ps I can knock an 1.20 hour of our journey as I go Llandegla every weekend for mountain biking.
