He can't leave the standard one on as it will lift the bonnet massively when he starts to drive it to a proper potential

Massive thanks to Alan, Martyn and all the staff at Enginetuner for the work they have completed on my car. After many, many pms to both Alan and Martyn I finally approached them to build me a long engine based on their outstanding knowledge and reputation. The brief was a fast, torquey road car with occasional track use based on a 2.35 block. Last week I collected the car for its running in period and I returned this week for the final mapping. The guys checked the car over once again, changed the oil and Martyn finished off wiring the Toucan. Even though the garage was mega busy the guys corrected a couple of minor issues they had found and Martyn spent nearly and entire day mapping the car with a variety of maps on both vpower and meth, only stopping to allow the car to cool and to take me to the burger van for a sausage butty and a coke courtesy of Alan. Just goes to show at any age its still viable to take money off your parents . The car is running super safe maps, injector duty is 50%, boost is 1.9 bar and redline is 8000. The Kelford 264 cams, ported heads and oversize valves that Alan specced allows the car to come on boost so much sooner and its blistering on the road. If you are looking for an engine build, work done to your car, advice or mapping look no further. I will be back to these guys when I need more work done and they are 450 miles from me and an 8 hour drive. If you want service, it pays to travel to find it.

Car makes

554.2bhp/520lbs on vpower
600.6bhp/570lbs on vpower + 16% meth

Extremely happy, time to drive it now.

Here's a few pics from the trip.

Right next job on the list, bloody coilovers. The drivers side has developed a leak. Its rediculously bad. DrewTTS has loaned me some WRX shocks so they are on whilst the AST's go back to Curtis for refurb and to be fixed. Gonna have a look at the poly bushes whilst before we refit them. Revolution turned this round in an hour whilst I had a brew and enjoyed the sun on Saturday. Just need to spend some time at home this week as have been away from my 3 year old a bit with work and plymouth last week.

Massive P**s on today, had to retap one of the chargespeed vents M6 bolt holes, the bolt would not fit in. Now sweet as a nut, so still not got the reverse vent fitted. Tomorrow fingers crossed.

Did manage to remove the old CAL switch though so at least something went right

Right, few minor jobs completed this morning whilst the mrs is at work and the little one is at playgroup.

CAL switch removed and replaced with a RJ45 connector linking to the Syvecs.

Chargespeed Carbon vent, Painted by Ryan (prodriverules), test fitted. Very pleased with it. Thanks again Ryan.

And the Engintuner badges fitted

Just needs a damn good wash.

Might be a grounding issue. Run a jump lead from battery neg to alternator body to check
