Insurance ?
Roughly £1000 to insure a JDM import brought in and tuned up to 400bhp by Ian Litchfield. That covers me (9+ years protected no claims) and the wench with all mods declared and covered as well.
The wench now has my old Blob WRX and it was about £500 for her with me as name driver.
Oh and thanks to Sky Insurance again. All 3 of our cars are covered through them.

i was insured by sky insurance for my 2005 impreza. i phoned up for a quote for my 94 impreza and they didnt want to know, i can assure you it is likely. i was very surprised cause you do say you specialise in imports, cant specialise that much lol.

Personlly I dont care if you wrap your car around a tree and get diddly squat from your insurers, its the poor buggers you crash into that will come out of this badly.
I hoped you were making some stupidly moronic joke, but it appears not.
Can I clarify then that you're driving a car with a turbo with an insurance policy for a car without turbo, deliberately defrauding your insurance and thus making it worthless?

Move on pal, you're making yourself look like a tit.
Brave? Not really, just saying what 99% of people who read your comments are thinking.
Of course, you may think committing insurance fraud is clever, but you won't find many (or any) on here who'll agree with you.
You're technically driving un-insured, because there will be no cover in effect if you have an accident.

When you do, because you will, I hope you only wipe yourself out and no one else has to suffer your ignorance.
Good introduction to the website, you'll now be known forevermore for the tool you truly are.
i
I didn't say I was doing it did I, so before you go shouting your mouth off like some gob ****e, get for facts right. OK flower.

We may have not been able to insure you, but that would be you and not the fact that the car is an import.

the im a "good driver" story, what happens if one of us mere mortals with lesser experience hit you ttaffyboy?
Just to clear it up then, have you insured it as a turbo or not?
(Wind your neck in by the way, you've recently joined up here, are spouting stupid comments, and making yourself look like a tit. You don't have to take my advice of course, but you'd do well to if you're going to last on here)
Anyone with common sense would have cleared the matter up when asked earlier.

i have a modded impreza and insure it with all mods declared as its the only way to make sure your fully covered if lost or damaged.
it costs a little more but in my opinion your stupid not to make sure your correctly covered if you love your car.
some dont declare mods but i doubt many are stupid enough to not declare a turbo and claim its a n/a.
i pay a little more than if it was standard but im happy knowing im fully covered.

(or you realise you've made yourself look a fool, and are back-tracking)
Either way, welcome to Scoobynet. I can't see your stay being a long one
Tbh can see his point about insurance being a con, HOWEVER in this great country of ours its a LEGAL requirement and therefore well needed, I never did understand the thought process of people insuring cars under wrong details etc. but hey thats just me.
If less people tried to con the insurance companies by fraudulent claims (whiplash if they're fine) and these sorts of things then insurance wouldnt have risen for us all so much.
Anyone found driving a car fraudulently should be forcibly removed and made to watch as its crushed, without exception. Keep these sorts off the road and for the honest motorist prices should find a better equilibrium.
I dont see insurance as being a con, yes I see it as being expensive.

Most people feel insurance is a con.... untill they have to claim, then it's a bargain!
