Everyone does have a different opinion.
People placing pictures of their car ASKING for everyone's opinion, can expect GOOD and BAD replies. Thats the nature of giving people an opinion.

In real life, if one of your "mates" wound you up, you'd take it like a man and retort with something equally amusing and you'd all laugh about it.

Treat the 'net as the same. If someone is trying to push buttons (which a LOT of people do lol) just either ignore or retort. Dont get angry, dont threaten, dont QUIT.

Its all about having a laugh, educating yourself off the other grease monkeys (Thank you all, you're an invaluable source of free information).

I love scoobynet. I love my scoob and I think the banter is WELL FUNNY.

 

Don't get me wrong, I'm up for banter as much as anybody else.

But like in my example, tommy's post in a guys thread, you can blatently tell he has upset the owner of the car, which to me oversteps the mark completely.

Good or bad comments, I still believe there should be a level of respect there. More so if you don't know the person on a personal level to pass it off as 'banter'
