Well I thought we had that in the bag but cant really grumble overall as de gea kept us in it. Not seen too many replays but the rooney pen claim looked clear cut even though I have seen some comments from spurs fan who disagree (funnily enough). Still we have had plenty of decent shouts go our way this season.

Clear penalty IMHO but Spurs deserved at least that for that performance. I guess we can't really complain abouut a rival scoring a goal in Fergie time either

I'm surprised no one has mentioned AVB's Blanky the poor mite

I also thought it was in the bag too, but as you say De Gea was the man.
Clear penalty yes, but you win some, and you lose some

I would seriously take the one positive out of this; De Gea is starting to look the keeper that Ferguson hoped he would be.

I'd agree, apart from one or two punch outs when he could and should have caught the ball instead (e.g. their goal came indirectly from one of those)

As was stated during the match – his shop stopping prowess has never really been in question. His handling of crosses and his kicks under pressure have been the issue although I would say the latter has improved somewhat.

Anyone see the picture floating around of one of Chelski’s coaching staff stood behind Rafa wearing the team coat but with RDM on it?

I have always felt his footwork has been excellent, and has always been great passer of the ball out from the back.

I agree, he has been like Dracula with some crosses and those punches always make me poo a bit !

Yeah, I read that also.
Do think there is any truth in it?

Side topic - fair play to De Gea, his girlfriend is a cracker

Indeed, and there was me wondering if he was gay!

But that could also be a factor, as she is based in Madrid.

I cant see him binning De Gea, look at his age, he wont peak for another 13 years

Valdes is keen to leave Barca next season, I dont see them begging him to stay but I do hear they're interested in De Gea, speaks volumes.

The kid is still learning, he has mad foul ups admitedly but he has also made some great saves and his distribution from the back is pretty impressive imho.

And yes his laydee is very nice

Zaha deal confirmed, £10m rising to £15m, if he realises his potential then it's worth it imo.

Wanyama in the summer ?

Zaha - excellent news.

Wanyama - well they seem to be taking an interest in him all right.

That interest has been ongoing for at least 6 months or so, SAF still looking for the next Roy Keane, maybe he believes he's found his man.

From what I have seen of him he's alright, he is no Djemba Djemba thank **** !!

Fergie shrewdly building another team in the background for the next manager

The next Roy Keane? Adolf Hitler, or perhaps Joey Barton. Both 'orrible cvnts that should fit the bill nicely.

No.

In other news, I was listening to the radio about this horseracing fix with, amongst others, MarK Wilson. As much as I find Man Utd distasteful, the way the media described him as 'ex Man Utd player' was lazy journalism, even trying to inflate the story with mention of Man Utd.

Two or three games, wasn't it? Hardly a regular.

Chopra's reaction to his ban was to say he hoped this would help with his gambling addiction, no remorse, no apology.

Classic response after being found guilty.

He is a pr1ck. I am most surprised that more has not been made of this, ie. putting the ***** up him by the FA suspending him until they have looked at games he has played in with 'odd results' coupled with betting patterns.

Some people think they are just untouchable.

Scholes has had his car nicked from his drive after leaving it idling to defrost while he went back inside.

Well, when I say car, it was his Chevy something or other that was given to him by the club so I'm not sure he'll miss it...

Apparently, when he heard them driving away, he ran outside to tackle them but got there late...

LOL apart from the last line, it's all true.

Re the last line, I thought that I might as well get it in before anyone else does
