We're still laughing about the £10m you gave us for not signing him !!
It does make you wonder that if he had gone to United would he have turned out any differently as a player under a different coaching regime. I've seen little improvement in him since he's been at Chelsea (like Anderson for example), looks like we dodged a bulet there.
I'm getting a little tired of these puny slaps on the wrist the FA hand out these days.
You'd get that for a straight red, pitiful.
So you wanted a big ban then.....
A player can break another player leg in a tackle and end his career and get same ban....and to be fair he only burst into the ref's changing room and threaten to kill him

Apparently it would have been a "considerably more lengthy ban" but for the fact that he thought he had been racially abused at the time.
How long before similar excuses are trotted out for reducing the ban from red cards, for example? "Yeah, I broke his leg but my mate said he'd heard someone say he called me naughty names first!".
Liverpool were bloody awful tonight, watched the game from the hotel I'm in away with work and it was a ....... boring game. Switched to the Tottenham match after and it wasen't much better!!!
