Was watching Sunday Supplement and their talked about Steve Gerrard turning down Chelsea twice. It made me think if he looks at say Frank Lampard and what he won at Chelsea,at the end of his career would he look back with regret at not joining Chelsea.
Or if he played for a proper team and won half of the silverware Ryan Giggs has. And he got to **** Imogen too

Nice question,
I respect the loyalty of the man for staying at his home team and not glory hunting like most world class players, no doubt if he did move he would of won the only medal he craves but looking back at his past honours he has done pretty good to be fair,. Its nice to see some players are not motivated by money and glory and yes i do feel he may have a tad of regret but he has also had a career to envy aswell dont forget

Anyhow 3-1 to the mighty reds today
Agreed, you have to respect him staying with his home team. Especially as he would have had the choice of all the top European teams. Not many World class players would do that, Giggs and Scholes, can't think of any others?
Will he look back and wish he had gone to a bigger club and maybe won more, maybe, maybe not, he has won things at Liverpool, but obviously never a championship, and currently it looks unlikely he ever will.
Everytime I watch a post match interview with Rodgers it's like groundhog day, coming out with the same lines praising his team constantly after losing and drawing. He's a real stats man thats for sure.

Glad that he made that choice of his own free will and it was nothing to do with being visited by local hoods and advised not to take the Chelski silver, allegedly...
He knows he has missed out on loads of silverware that he could have picked up with a decent team. Shame for him really.
