If pedal is not coming back up it suggest air............Take the cylinder off the box, clamp the piston, hold it with nipple as highest point and bleed it this way...

Also is it possible you fitted the clutch plate the wrong way around??

Makes no difference using the 5spd slave cylinder, but I did get hardship once bleeding one that the line had been completely empty of fluid, and solution was to have nipple at highest point and bleed that way. If you look at it the nipple is in the worst place it can be when bolted to box

As Ken says the slave cylinder needs to be unbolted to bleed.

So today finally all went well with fixing tranny issues so now all works as it should.
We fixed fork in final possitin and pumped piston from slace cylineder closer to fork as we had few mms of "empty travel" of clyider befor it reaced fork.

Really glad about the difference 6 speed makes and i can advise any GC8 running 5 speed to save some funds for upgrade

I would like a 6 speed box but seems a lot of bother. Is 6 speed worth it?
