I used to get them from Cyprus as I was based out there and the guy would post them to me once I moved back to the UK, this would cost £36 for 6 months but then they went over to the Euro and they went up to £60 ! Contactlenses.co.uk were the cheapest UK supplier

Update -

Booked an appointment and a further eye exam with Specsavers after I reported that I was having problems with their lenses.
Out of 30 pairs, I have had to throw 7 pairs away do to them just not sitting right on my eye.
I explained that I wasn't interested in upgrading to a more expensive varient as these were already some 50% more expensive than Daysoft.

'But I can't give you a prescription for Daysoft.' she said
I told her that I didn't need one from her as I wouldn't be purchasig them through Specsavers.

She responded by saying:
'No, you don't understand, because I can't write one for these lenses, you can't wear them!'

I got quite angry at this point and pointed out that as a consumer, I will buy what I bloody well like and that I had been wearing them with NO problems for a good 18 months.

'Well, what they doing is illegal then. They can't do that. You have to have a prescribed lense.'
I then asked her if the more expesnive lenses that they offer, has the same specs as the budget range. They don't. They are completely different. It is not what will suit my eye, it is what Specsavers tell me I can wear.

In the same conversation she also said 'ever since the industry has been re-regulated' and 'there isn't anything wrong with the Daysoft product itself..'

So, if it has been de-regulated, how can it be illegal and how can they be fine for me, but you can't prescribe them?

Absolute f*cking joke.

Then when I went to cancel, the administrator very quickly pointed out that I can only return un-opened boxes and that I needed to write a letter, sign it and then bring it in to cancel. I then proceeded to pull 1, 2, 3, 4 boxes of un-opened contact lenses boxes from an bag as well as a letter than I had written earlier. Her face was a picture.

'Can I cancel now?'
'Erm, yes, of course sir!'

I also pointed out to them as well as putting it in the letter about being offered extra discount on glasses if I was a monthly lenses customer. The offer was 50% off glasses. But this couldn't be used in conjunction with 2 for 1. So if I wanted two pairs of glasses, there is no extra discount from being a contact lense customer.

Her response was, 'Hmm, yes it can be a bit confusing.'

At that point, I said my polite goodbyes and left.

I have since discovered that the guy who invented 'Focus Dailies' is the same guy behind Daysoft.

I just cannot belieive how much bull**** Specsavers came out with.
