I've done the evo thing a few times. I just can't love them!

What tends to happen is I find myself wanting one, buy one, like it for a month or so and then it just leaves me cold. Then I flog it, tell the mrs to remind me never to buy another. Then repeat proccess..

I find the Impreza feels faster bhp/bhp and I find them more fun. The whole kudos thing of the evo is nice when you're younger, but I can rise above that now

Always thought who would be mad enough to buy a S201.... H has answered that for me

 

I got bored, so sold the S202. Like all my other cars. The longest I have even owned a car is 1 year & 5 months. The S202 was a amazing car & enjoyed every second of driving it, tuning it etc. However all good things come to an end, to make way for better things.

I have also been thing about going ***** out on a classic Type R

The 22B is a awesome machine but the blue is not my fav of colours. Furthermore regarding a hatch, I would never do such a thing. It decieves the Subaru look so much & gets mistaken for Mazda 323 all the time.

 

That is nice but abit too much going on there.

H, congrats on the new buy, but boy.... that is one hideous looking classic! Each to there own i guess.

Type R (loved my V-Limited)

 

There is a nice RaR on piston heads, and there is andythejock's Black spec c, you could own the RaR for a year and lose bugger all money.

 

Its a nice car but as you said already, a lot of money to put into a car that will be driven daily. Plus its a car you'd want to keep stock & not tamper with it.
