I wonder if it would pay for ALL those who have had warranty issues with this company and their enginneer to get together. then the BBCmay take a lot more interest!

 

Hello everyone

Just wanted to update with the latest happenings. Black Horse paid out half the bill on the 16th May and AutoProtect emailed me on the 28th May stating that they will be sending out payment for the other half any day now! I have even had an email from Wessex Garages saying that once I have received payment to get back in contact with them and they will sort out a goodwill gesture for me as well - bonus! Wonder If I can get them to pay for the replacement suspension???

Obviously the payouts only cover like for like items but its still a hefty chunk off the bill. Thank god I havent got to bother David any more with requests for invoices to be emailed / posted / faxed to various parties anymore! Although I think I may have to bother him for a set of uprated injectors in the near future (he did warn me that might happen after the money came through).

Car is running absolutely beautifully although thats probably rather a pointless thing to say given the spec and the people who built it.

 

That's great news you have the money refunded. Thing is you should not have to fight these crooks to get what rightfully yours.

 

Good work mate. Hadn't seen your post from before but I had a very similar story (with some suspensions issues) with WarrantyWise! Complete waste of money getting these aftermarket warranties and offer absolutely NO piece of mind!
Got the money out of them in the end for the amount of the warranty cost so may as well not have taken it out! Months of emails and lengthy discussions! Even emailed Quentin Wilson but that did nothing! Unsurprisingly!
