Ipad 2 or 3 if you want it for Note taking movies etc, I have 3 in my house and im a heavy windows user, this tick all the boxes for me. I also take notes in meetings with it and a pen, and it syncs back to either one note or dropbox.

but if you want a Tablet for work then i would advise that Dell have a Brand New Slate that my client has just ordered 1000 of. We are running 2 one with windows 8 on and 1 with windows 7 and they are both fantastic. true windows enviroment and touchscreen tablet loveliness

but as i always say, there is nothing as smooth as the Ipad, some guys at work have Motorola Android things and to be honest i think they are crap, you can tweak android but i never want to do this im either windows or Ipad thats it i dont need some wannabe Android thing.

Wow aint been on here for a while and nice to see some heated arguments still going on!

Anyway Ive been an app developer for 2 years now with 5 apps on the app store. Bottom line is this, Tony you are wrong and in fact Im not really sure why you ignored the posts that Iain and judgejules made which were right on the money.

Fact is you can get apps that work while suspended its just if you wrote such an app it wouldnt pass apples app review process and its simple as that. So any device running ios 4.x or later can multitask, funnily enough just like it stated in that last link you posted.
