people (middle earners) are going to have to face the fact that they will have to pay an ever increasing portion the their income on the basics of life

food, fuel, heating, water, clothing will all be going up and up

the very low earners are inevitably going to drift into poverty

At least there will be more bicycles on the road seeing as only people earing in excess of 100k per year will be able to afford fuel by 2015

........Heard the Chancellor on Radio 4 in the morning saying that his earnings in a year don't go over 150,000 so reducing the top rate of tax won't affect him.

I think i read somewhere that over 150 mp's currently in the house of commons are well over millionaires.
No problems for any of them then
