Totally agree buddy, I'm dreading the day I break mine up. But unfortunately it's the only way to get some real value from a high spec Impreza these days. The OP's car (in my opinion) isn't of a high enough spec to warrant breaking it for parts with the time and effort involved.

I think he feels a little let down with the end result after spending soooooo much money, I mean a 350bhp bug WRX for a 15 grand investment would leave me feeling more than a little peeved. I know it's pointless looking back and thinking "wish I did it different", but I suppose it's a lesson for everybody.
A 5K STI with a 5K investment on extras would of been a much wiser road to go down and end with a smile rather than tears.

My experience of Api was very good. I ordered some coilovers over the phone, they called me once they came in, i drove over to collect. Now David could have just taken the money & sent me on my way but he didn't - He must have spent at least an hour of his time to discuss with me all the different options available & advise me down the correct route, he is a top bloke!

Sorry mate but you are being a propper **** to yourself.

Your really going to kick yourself for what your doing now, maybe not straight away but in a few months your going to be laying in bed and think about what you did with this car and think what a prat i was for getting rid.

but hey, as i like to say, it's your money waste it how you like but remember as my nan used to say act in haste repent at leisure.

I also get the feeling that your not so well off, and have to work and save to get what you want as well as the credit you have mentioned, i think you better prepare your self for a few years of hating life paying for something you don't have and thinking how it could have been.

but i'm not your dad,and if i was i'd tell you to finnish what you started.
