That's not fair on the dog. It's going during the night, I think. As someone is in the house most of the day. The tank is far enough away from the house to not hear if anyone is tampering with it. I would love to catch the thieving scumbags. Once they know where a tank is though, they just keep coming back and insurance companies will not cover the loss.

Won't the coppers keep an eye on it from time to time? All part of their job to prevent crime.

Can you alarm the tank in some way?

I reccomend one of these as a siren: http://www.klaxonsignals.com/product...&categoryID=49

Anyone within a few metres of it will poop their pants

I have one on my house...I can hear it from my mums house which is 1.5 miles away! I know because the alarm went off and it phoned me up...popped my head out the door and went yup...I can here it . I'm usually am greeted by a small audience of bewildered and slightly deaf neighbours when I arrive too (thankfully, false alarms are rare) .

That looks great, except we'd be setting the damn thing off everytime we walk past the tank. That's assuming it's sensor driven. Might still look into that one though, thanks
