i have had the letter thats why i called my local dealer from the list that was supplied with the recall notice. 2 phone calls so far and was told i would be called back...... guess what no phone call !!!!!!!!
i will give them another chance tommorrow so not naming them just yet but not impressed so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone in the north Wales / north west has any issues booking in with a dealer give me a call at bluebridge subaru near Chester and we will sort them out .

Still not got a letter MY55 Wagon, is it easier just to ring local dealer and ask them if it needs doing instead of waiting for VOSA letter ?

I would !

I bought my misses a Honda Jaz second hand private sale. When i bought it a door lock was broken so i booked it into a honda dealer to be fixed. When i went to collect it they had also changed the light stalk and and electric window switch. By all accounts there were outstanding re-calls which were activated once the reg was in putted into there system.

I rung my local dealer as I didn't get a recall for my 51 plate bug wagon and I went in this morning to be told both need replacing and I had to leave the car until tomorrow as it wasn't safe to drive. Fantastic service from the dealer though as they even gave me a ride home.

If you saw the test tool then you will know why it wouldnt be safe to drive big sprung spike that they put against the metal and release!

i havnt had a letter about my 03 wrx, just rang my local dealer and they said its not listed as needing looking at, should i try somewhere else or take their word for it if its all 02/07 imprezas?
