MY96 UK Turbo 135,000 miles never saw a rebuild and ran at 320bhp
until I had to break it due to the terrible body rot.

i think how long the engine lasts before a rebuild would depend on how its been looked after, i.e. serviced and driven with sympathy and also if it has been mapped after modding.

Six hundred and thirty thousand, seven hundred and twenty eight! I had to put that in words as I don't believe it!
By the way, 630,728miles = 1,017,303Km
(Are you sure it's not like Triggers 20 year old broom - 15 new heads and 10 new handles?)

If we say the car is 13 years old that would mean it does 48,517 miles per year.
So one year at todays v-power prices would cost oin fuel £16859.00 WOW

145,000 miles on the first engine then replaced it, 70,000 miles on the "new" one.
Picking up a FSTI tomorrow.
