Hi Grant it dosn't make any differance it'll work either way, the only reason I put red & black wires on them is just the connector has -+ on them and someone commented on it about 50 solinoids ago lol

Boost solenoid is the electronic valve that controls the Wastegate, a lot of mappers find it better/easier to control the boost with a 3 port solenoid fitted
