Rally wales GB should have been stopped
Few cars with split intercoolers (amongst other things )...I suppose thats one good reason to use a TMIC instead of a FMIC 
Now here's one for the rally buffs: Do I recall correctly that Pre 1997 Impreza WRC cars had TMICs, and did the Legacy WRC cars retain their chargecoolers?

Pre-97 was still the Gp.A spec rules, where the homologation rules were much tighter. Like a heavily breathed upon Gp.N, in effect.
MY97, was when the rules were relaxed to make it more of a 'spectacle', and teams where allowed more freedom - hence the birth of the modern-day, wide-arch/be-winged "WRC cars".
How much did you love the unveiling of the WRC 97 Impreza?!! Cool as f**k.
