Nice, the o-rings are a nice touch and save a few quid on gaskets

Due to a possible change in circumstances I may be selling the project off,I'll know at the end of the month if its happening or not.
Very unhappy about it but if the possible change go's ahead I'll have no choice.

I won't boar you with the details unless it happens,I'll build the engine regardless as it will be good for someone's project if it doesn't go in mine.

Makes me feel sick that I might be forced into it
It's different if you make the decision off your own back.

I'm not to big to admit it,it's really quite upsetting to think it could be over after hundreds of hours of work put in and massive amounts of cash

Well if there's anything that I have can do to help don't hesitate to mention it! And I'm sure there's quite a few people on here that may feel the same...

Not good news Ryan. This build was turning out to be one of the best I've ever seen, the attention to detail has been remarkable. You really need to do what you can to keep the car and at least finish it.
Im guessing you're losing the workshop space for it, if so can you not rent a little garage or something. My garage is currently empty, you're more than welcome to drop it off here :-) you may find me sitting in it making car noises but hey, who wouldn't. ........
You know that you'll never get back what you've put in but at least a drive in it sort of makes it worthwhile.

Good luck buddy.

Very kind offer mate and I'm sure you would enjoy having it nestled in your garage lol

I am going to try my damn'd hardest to keep/finish the car but the tide might just be against me on this one but time will tell!!

Whatever the situation is the Ryan I hope you can work a way around it, to have put so much time and effort into this without adding expence it's not good when you can't finish it especially as close as you are to it now.

Thanks Si,I'm just going to push on and get as much done as I can before a decision has to be made one way or the other.

Had a big push this week end and got the engine bay and boot all flatted/cleaned down and masked off for paint, then it was time for paint, the colour was again another custom job but it's basically a magnesium metailic which I think looks ace and what's better is it has a white pearl which will give good angled colour change.

That's a fantastic colour, if I could have that was my prefered for the crossmembers on mine but it was not possible. Is this just for under bonnet etc or are you doing the whole car ?

Myself and Ryan have been chatting this afternoon and he is going to break the car.

This has been a hard decision for him to make but he knows it's for the best.

He will start a breaking thread / parts for sale thread shortly with prices once he's made a full list.

Honestly I'm glad that Ryan has come to this decision.

I like to think that Ryan and myself are very good friends and I know what a relief that this decision was for him once it had been made.

He knows I'll kick his butt if he doesn't know follow it through fully.

Well done Ryan, if anyone wants a scapegoat then I'm it.
