Good quote on TMS, "It's almost as though there have been two games going on out there - Cook batting at one end, and then the rest."

I noticed that BBC4 broadcast 101 last night

I thought we were in with a chance but didn't expect it to be that easy, without Cookie it wouldn't have been

It's already a closer game than the last match. We should just edge this one I'd have thought.

I read the catch by Kieswetter was a bit special, looking forward to seeing that later.

Particularly pleasing to have another win after the abysmal test display.

Wow what a performance!

KP getting 111. Anyone else standing on one leg with a tear in their eye?

The younger generation wont have a clue about standing on one leg.

Sad to see Punter potentially coming to the end, certainly ODI but I hope he sticks with the Test team, I know he is disliked in this country and doesn't exactly have an army of fans down there but I would like to see him carry on at Test level, on his day as good as anyone who's played the game.

Ponting giving a news conference at midnight GMT. Can only be for 1 reason

The most hated Aussie Captain in history and that's by Australians

Putting the rivalry aside he has the second highest amount of ODI runs, over 13,000........ Thousand!!! One of the last great Aussie cricketers from the golden era

3-0 up good to see the selectors giving a couple of the younger boys a run out, looking forward to seeing what Buttler and Briggs can do

4-0 whitewash, I would have expected it to be the other way round white washing them in the tests and losing the ODI's.

Should improve our standing in the ICC ODI table just slightly

Same here, I thought we'd have wasted them in the tests but struggled once we'd put the pyjamas on. What do I know?

What do we depend on to keep number 1 test ranking? The Saffers losing?

Yeah, as I suspected. The England 'B' team, need to beat New Zealand 3 - 0 to grasp top spot.

Our number 1 status depends on whether south Africa beat new Zealand 3-0

Any less than a whitewash and we keep it for a bit longer.
