i was talking cars with a friend of mine in a bar when someone standing at the bar by us turned to me and said i'm a liar and that there arent any cosworth engine subarus (we were talking about my litchfied type25). I of course explained things to the chap who was having none of it and started loudly proclaiming what a lying **** i was before proceeding to offer me "outside"!! I replied "sure, i can show you the engine in the car if you want cos its parked outside"!!!

I love the RA arguement......

I got fed up explaining that my car was a Spec D Sti. After all it couldn't be an STi as it had front fog lights and a low rear spoiler plus leather trim. MUST be a WRX. yea right. also WRX have silver wheels and STi are gold.....

I give in. OK. The previous owner must have fitted an STi engine, Intercooler and ECU- DCCD and rear undertray plus Brembos and Sti hubs and wheels then.

Does this mean I can get cheaper insurance? If I can fool so called knowledgable souls in their Subaru Jackets, (without even speaking) perhaps the Insurance can come down.

Mind you the sticker in the doorshut on the drivers side looks almost real....

 

I've been told mine isn't an rb5 because it has crystal headlights :s
