Brian is undertaking all the larger work next week. I think I may have stripped too much of the car yesterday. I drove to work today which fortunately is only 3 miles with no indicators! I’m guessing the centre vents which incorporates the hazard switch complete the wiring (doh) I best plug that back in today! The car other than that is road legal for me to get to Brian’s Yesterday I took off the spoiler, rear seats, boot lining, spare wheel, door sill protectors, stereo, vents and hazard switch, dash clock, centre consoles and gear surround, door cards and switches, heater controls, scoop and under tray and various other little pieces. Struggling to remove the fog cover, the screws have oxidized, so I will remove the bumper next week.. The diffuser and splitter are awkward as I need a better position to get to them, so the ramp next week these can come off.

Yours is coming on nicely buddy. I haven’t forgot your request, and have passed it onto another graphics firm. Just awaiting a phone call. Rob

Hi Rob,

Have you got any closer pics of sill protectors? Are they in good nick, any scratches on the chrome?

Cheers mate, might be something else I'll have off you, what p&p would it be?

I havent got any better pics at the moment, but they are very clean and tidy. The only slight marks are only surface marks that will polish out. P&P for these alone would be around £8.00.

Rob,

How much tread do the re070`s have left, Would you consider splitting from the rims as i`m after a set to go on my BBS`s, Are they the 225 or 235`s?

Would be able to collect too, so no issues regarding shipping etc...

Thanks, Gaz.

Hi Gaz

The car is going to the garage in the morning to start removing the large items, so I will try and get an accurate gauge on them. I would hazard a guess at 5mm all round though

Im prepared to split though, so please make me an offer. Im aware they are around £110 each new. Ive even considered keeping them for the next scoob

Hi there,

First off I cant spiit the rear bench seats, as the back part on its own would be worthless if its not complete. You might be best trying a full time breaker for this, but prepare to pay over the odds as they will see the same issue.

The glove box, Air con pulley & Bracket (if Im recalling that right part) £30 for lot collected, £38 delivered.

Spats already have around 6 waiting/wanted buyers mate sorry.

Sorry about that, I read the thead back to front lol, I should clarify though, its just the glovebox door that I need (broke the bloody handle), could you do the lot for £25 delivered, I just checked the internet and didnt realise that there is more to the glovebox than the door.

Also, I need a few clips from the front window vent infront of the dash, and the bottom clip from a pillar?

Thanks

Im not very good at decribing things!!

The first one is where the windscreen meets the inside of the car, and there are long thin vents to blow air on to the window when they have steamed up, on the sides it meets the white/cream plastic on the pillars.

I need a few clips from the that one, it comes off if you remove the plastic on the pillars, and I need the bottom clips from the plastic on the pillars.

Im confusing myself now!!

Ok I understand now, you litterally need the vent trim for the windscreen blower, no trouble, and the holding clips for the pillars, no worries. I'll get back to you later today, im just setting off taking the car to Brians for dismantalling.

Hi Rob,

any chance you can sell me the rubber pipe on the right hand side of the engine bay by the intercooler that feeds from the manifold and leads to the brake servo/master cylinder piping on the bulkhead/firewall.

cheers,

Dave
