Def worth the extra money to get the extra power, noise and keep the warranty. Nicely developed Pro-R.
Thanks to everyone involved (you know who you are:-)) and for the personal touch.
That will be Mike then

I'm having mine mapped tomorrow afternoon at same place

Yes the torque comes in lower, noticeably lower than the 320 prob about 700 rpm lower I would say.
Im never one to ignore real world experience but Subaru's own literature says 450nm @ 3400rpm for the 320r and 490nm @ 3600 for the 340r?

Not suprising re: the torque as a 340r is now only 25nm shy of a CS400!

I wonder how this compares to the 330S - which I assume Mike also had a hand in developing.
Its 470Nm at 3400, developing 330PS at 5400

That's peak power isn't it? Doesn't say how the torque comes in though?
Good point yes. Like I say real world performance is what its all about. Its a no brainer upgrade at that price.

no it's just the full 340R package as it is a no brainier upgrade to have a nice exhaust sound and warranty. It also gives some more Torque to make it more "drivable" in the real world. IMHO

Terry get the eibach pro-r spring kit and full geometry done

It will transform your cars looks and handling. It would also also suggest braided stainless brake lines while they have them disconnected

You've nailed your ECU? That won't help your warranty. Hope they discounted you the petrol and the postage!

Had mine done there by a nice young man called Mike Wood

He did comment on my lack of fuel economy. 5K miles and 21.5mpg and 171miles and 14.5mpg. He said "what have been doing" I replied having fun

To be fair I never drive it in sport mode an WTF is i for???

the soundtrack is great and warranty friendly IMHO

Initially not overly impressed with performance gains.

But when I got out of motorway trafficand on local B roads I did notice the extra torque.

So it's a big thumbs up from me for £1k warranty, sound and a bit more grunt.

Just a quickie, did anyone who has had the upgrade package get a certificate like the one we got for the 320r upgrade - proof for when selling on?

Tony has a nice little sticker on his driver side B pillar, like the VIN plate (but black on grey)

Don is correct and that sticker went over a 320r sticker.

So you should have similar sticker on b pillar

Awesome who's that with?

I must admit I didn't notice any power difference in low gears but does feel more "torque" in 4 & 5th. 6th is still flat LOL

For those that had their tweak done at IM, is there anyone in particular we can contact to try and arrange something or was it a 'friend of a friend job?' Losing the car for 5 days isn't going to be easy Did the local dealer still do the exhaust changes and reprogramme the key fobs (I assume this still needs doing like in the old PPP days?)
