I think, amongst other things, it comes with the tS model Carbon Roof panel.

Probs looking at £50k by the time you've got here. Will cost circa 4.6 million yen 36/37k from the dealers. Not a fan of the rear spoiler tho!!!

Testing looks like it's at the ring so i would imagine a quicker ring time to be released

Ok, how much did the centre pipe cost?

also, how did you remove the door/window trims to spray them black?

The plastic chrome inserts were sprayed black on the car after "carefully" masking the rubber surrounds. Tried vinyl but almost impossible to get good clean edges.

You can remove them and replace with earlier black finish Hatch window trims which cost about £300 new.

The rear quarter trims are part of the window glass so have to be painted.

Once you have removed the door trims, rear view mirrors and gusset covers, they clip on and are held in place with a couple of screws...........

lOOKS @@@@@@@@ lovelly

I'm really jealous, saw and heard my old type 20 twin scroll hawk yesterday but the extra £5K just took it out my budjet

BTW IIRC they make a MilTek exhaust for the saloon

Right, got my new head unit, plugged it in but it didn't fire up! It had gotten dark so I didnt investigate further, but I guess it could be an earthing problem?

I also need to get some tweeters for the A pillar as Subaru don't fit them to this spec car. Any ideas?

I believe all our Subaru Imprezas (STI) come standard with OEM tweeter pods here in the US.
If you are interested I can double check for you and get you a price.
I know my wagaon has them on as they are the interior mirror covers

The UK cars have the tweeters too, as does the 2.5 in Japan, but the 2.0 doesn't come with a stereo at all, but I believe the door speakers are in place from the factory.

A few more photos showing a couple of extras this car has fitted.

A strut brace.

And this bar fitted beneath the front suspension, I don't know what it's called or what benefit it has?

I have now fitted the new headunit, and it still sounds pants, I at the very least need to fit some tweeters in the front, and judging by the following photos I think the wiring is already there for them!? You can see the wire plugged into the back of the cover where the speaker would be!

Has anybody fitted different speakers in the front door of thier car?

WOW!!

i love that car and (imho) the wheels really make it..

i would also like to see the bonnet scoop lifted up a little, i think the hatch and new saloon scoop is to low as the bonnet is sunk in rather than scoop lifted up?!?!

make sense??

nice car all the same.

Looking at the pictures above you will also need the covers I listed in previous post into which the tweeters fit.

Yours appear to be the blank gussets 94251FG000/010 without the tweeter grills incorporated.

Yes, I would agree Don.

I may fit an amp and some Infinity Perfect 6.1's that I already have, but that depends on how deep the front doors are? I will try and look tomorrow.

Nice car mate, although not sure about the colour combo on the wheels?

But if you like them then that's all that matters! What is it like to drive?

I am in the throws of buying some original wheels for it.

It drives great, corners really well, but it does have a hard ride though!
