Can't be proven and can allow for dodgy mileage?

6 year old STI on 11k is well dodgy imho, and I own a well low mileage car.

i stay 2 mins from Croy, cant believe he has done this to you.
never seen this car around

He cant be a genuine seller, as in this current market, most people would meet you and buy lunch if your were buying thier car.

mileage seems a bit suspect, especially if registered to anyone in croy, i would say you avoided a problem car.

plenty more fish in the sea!

Mate similar happened to me before when I was in the army.

I was based at Catteric Garrison and seen a add for a Audi S2 in Bradford, so I called the guy got told "it is minted and all above board" so I jumped on the train and went to see it, only to be met buy this idiot with a pile of Sh it with the bumper all held together with silicone sealant and *** burns on the interior. I went mental ! I was going to kill him. I have never seen a guy move so quick in my life lol I am a fairly big guy 18 st and not fat so he sh it his brick when he seen my face go red and the vein on my forehead stick out and reach for his throat lol but I suppose at least he was there tho...

Similar to me that, went to a trader in Scunthorpe to view a silver bugeye that he said was a minter on the phone! Got there and on closer inspection there was massive dent on the front diff, rocker cover gasket had gone and a massive cracks on the front bumper and rear spoiler, mmm a real minter eh! Wasn't happy to say the least!

very true, the 1 good thing to come out of this is that im most definitely better off in the knowledge that i will eventually get a nice sti, and look back on this and feel glad he didnt show

also makes me more aware and what things are needed to check up on before i go a long distance to view a car
