Buyers market at the moment unless you got something rare like this which will always hold a premium!

I would of snapped his hand off @£9500 thats MY05JDM STI money. These cars can take months to sell which is something you should take into consideration.
Which means monthly insurance payments running cost's mot and road tax run out..etc by the time you do sell you'll end up with the same money.

To be honest, I'd pay the extra for a Spec C anyday (I did actually). JDM05 STI is okay, but, its that little extra (or less actually ) that you want and I think its worth it, when people ring up and pass on the car when they find out it hasnt got AC, they've really missed the point.

Good luck with the sale, worth the money any day!

No contradiction I know what I said. Am just giving you an idea of what the market is like mate i have nothing to gain or lose if you do or don't sell the car. Am just going of my experience selling spec c's

It's a funny market some months theres not enough of them then others there just sat there. If I get any enquiries for MY03/MY04 JDM's I'll be sure to send them your way.

£9500 is VERY strong money. If you don't have to sell why choose to sell now in worst recession we've seen for years?

Cut the bull s**t and ****** his hand off

BUMP for a great car

All the upgrades (downgrades maybe to cut the weight) in the world and it will never be a spec c thats why jdm's are cheaper, if you want a spec c you have to buy one like this.
Great car this don't sell it.

Jdm is a well made high spec road car, spec c is a road going group N rally car with very little in the way of comfort, they are chalk and cheese, the spec c is not made for comfort it is a light weight racer with noise and a very firm ride and is an acquired taste, it is much lighter due to weight saving measures and feels quite hardcore. It's not everybody's cup of tea but people who own or have owned these cars will tell you other subarus don't come close!!!! Performance wise over 1/4miles it maybe close, but on a track like the nurburgring a couple of seconds a mile adds up to nearly 30 seconds over just one lap. At the end of the day it's just personal taste some people want speed with electric windows, central Locking and air con and others just prefer a drivers car ;-)

Its the quickest 0-100 out of the factory none special edition scoob you can get (by 2 seconds), its the quickest in gear times, its the most responsive engine etc etc etc, its sole purpose is to run as a competition car (Spec C = specification competition), and as Jon has said his was the 16 inch motorsport version (there is a 17 inch and a limited in the same year, ive had/have both ).

Just search you tube and you will see what this car is capable of, its owned mitsubishi's back side since 2002, its done a 7.59 mins round the full nurburgring and the latest limited edition knocked 4 seconds off that time

The 16 inch motorsport version is the lightest blob available, weight is 1310kg, the 17 inch is 1350kg, mainly down to having a few extra's like the engine oil cooler, brembo brakes, A-DCCD and a slightly more weighty interior (Jon has rectified that though ) as you really dont want the justy one that these come with standard
All in all Jon's car is stunning

Tony
