I had this problem with my 03 JDM Sti when i bought it....i split the shocks and greased them up only for the problem to reoccur a few months later second time around i added the grease nipple and its been workin a treat since!! glad to see some body else has gone to the bother of taking pictures of how to do it as i didnt have the patience

^ Good to get the feedback on this working well, thanks. It does seem the area needs 'packing' with grease rather than just the light cover it gets when opened up

Well I done mine sorta different I placed the nipple at the grease trap so that wen it gets dry there I add some grease. I'm not so sure about packing it with grease as I suspect it would get quite messy after a while and probably affect the shock absorbers performance....
