I've only read the opening post of this thread, so forgive me if it's wandered right off topic and this is no longer relevant but...
The ones I use are (to take the mick out of the fact that they do all the work for you...
"Skylines handle much better if you get the analogue controllers"
"Why buy a skyline, the *new* PlayStation (PS2) is much more realistic"

Chuck, no need to let the guy get you rattled, although listening to dip sticks who have no apparent common sense 'or' real life knowledge of the 22B definitely makes you grind yer teeth.
22B + Leda + 'sensibly' chipped/tweaked for more torque = mucho fun and one *** kicking combination.
The owner of one shiny new 360 modena will testify to this having made the very big mistake of under estimating the 'Uber Scoob' one night last week.
The P1 is a cracking car, but set up the 22B for British roads (suspension only in my opinion) and I'm sorry it would never get 'thrashed' by any P1.

Guys,
Just to contribute to the P1 - 22B theme.
I know lots of P1 owners who would love to own a 22B.
I don't know many 22B owners who would love to own a P1........
That's my opinion, as a P1 fanatic.

Skyline 1510kg 276bhp (in standard trim) = 182BHP per 1000kg
P1 1235kg 276bhp = 223 BHP per 1000kg
In fact, going by these figures, my M8's Skyline as previously mentioned has a figure of 231BHP per 1000kg and I said they *felt* the same - not a lot in it.
One other thing - how about mentioning cost vs performance - I'm sure you'd be onto a winner there as well

Spot on you are going to need around 340 bhp to match the power to weight of a standard 276 impreza. It also means that because the skyline is 300kgs heavier that for every 1 bhp the impreza increased you would need 1.25 bhp in the skyline.
So tell the boss that every 1 subaru horse you have under the bonnet its worth 1.25 nissan horses of his
.

Ok, how about this, I would have the Skyline on a track or for long straightish roads, and the P1 for the twisty bits. Skyline can be tuned to 450bhp for about the same cost as getting the scooby to 320 bhp. Any Non UK imported Skyline will hold its value better than the P1 or any scooby at £15-£20k for an R33 looks a bit of a bargin really! 2000 R34's could probably be had for the same money as a P1 new. So the answer is I would have the Skyline if I could afford to run it and the P1 if I could afford to buy it!!!

Yep you need 400 bhp to make the skyline peformance look good [
]. They are still very pricey and if you are talking imports then an STi or a WRX looks a lot better buy IMHO.
cheers

Chrisp,
Of course I have WRX, would love to be able to really afford either though and of the two P1 looks over priced and is not available at a reasonable used price yet due to limited numbers.
