Couple of decals finally fitted and some sunshine coincided with a clean car. Miracle.

I notice that Kit that Holdcroft are selling is missing a grille out of it for it to be classes as the full kit, hence why it's cheaper.

we have a limited number of Black and Stainless Steel Grille Kits available. A Grille Kit consists of Upper Grille, Lower Grille, Fog Lamp Grille x2, Side Grille x2, Bonnet Scoop & Rear Lower Scoop
they are missing out the rear lower mesh for the back

Rob if you could sort it that would be great but as a note, this is off the pro r Web site. No mention of the rear grill, as on ebay its sold as a single item @£104 (ebay from memory was £20 cheaper at £85) should all be displayed on this link

http://pro-r.co.uk/products?filter%5...r%5Bsearch%5D=

Cheers for the help

Right this is the situation regarding grille's.

the link first given that's showing for sale from holdcroft, We arnt sure how they are selling them at that price to be honest, as our discounts don't even get it that low unfortunately. The only thing we can assume is they ordered them a while back before the price increase on parts or an earlier special offer that they've taken advantage of.

How ever...

what I can do is the following, they come as a kit as a special deal.
first up Black mesh grille kit consisting of the following

Upper Mesh Grille
Lower mesh Grille
Bonnet Scoop Mesh Grille
2x Fog Lamp Mesh Grille's
2x Side vent mesh grille's
Rear Lower mesh grille.

The Price for the Black is £399 Inc Vat Should normally be £553.99 so that's a huge Discount of £154.99

Second up Is the option Of Stainless steel Mesh,

Upper Mesh Grille
Lower mesh Grille
Bonnet Scoop Mesh Grille
2x Fog Lamp Mesh Grille's
2x Side vent mesh grille's
Rear Lower mesh grille.

The Price for the stainless steel kit is £369.00 Inc Vat, Should normally be £510.98 so thats a huge discount of £141.98.

They order in bulk, have a special partnershiip with Pro-R and the suppliers. Michael there told me before when I ordered the fog kit and asked about a few R bits.

Or you can buy the individual items depending upon what you want but at a slightly higher "individual" cost

Second purchase completed, thanks for the info from Rob (appreciate it) regarding the grills and being unsure of the look I'm after on the rear of the car I message the ebay add, got a instant reply. Quick call, recieved and direct email. Paid via PayPal free delivery as they claim they have limited stock left and it's been discounted already. Either way I'm happy so £325 to my door and from memory they have the rears as an individual item st £65 so even with postage it will be the same spot on price as rob has offered for the full kit.

Thanks for the help

Anyone had any hands on use with the APS top mount intercooler? Any view experience etc, rather than going FMIC which I would assume is always going to be better just don't fancy chopping bumpers etc

Anyone know what they are good for etc

Cheers

It all depends what power your going for. I have been told by a couple of the good tuners (Bob Rawle, Any Forrest) that anything above 400hp and you need to go front mount. My last hawkeye top mount was struggling at 400hp from heat soak.

I have just bought the perrin front mount intercooler pipes from america, if you buy the pipes and core seperate you can get them much cheaper than the kits over here. I have had to go that way as I am looking for 550hp+.

The full black pipe kit with red joiners has cost me £380 delivered then I will get hit with about another £100 import tax.

The cores are a little more about £450 delievered then import tax.

I have reckoned on £1050 for the full kit incl import tax, which is about £400 cheaper then I can get in the UK.

But the perrin kits are not cheap, but they are very good. Had one fitted to my Hawkeye.

Thanks for the info, im loving the Perrin gear, currently get prices from a UK supplier JW Racing as I assumed paying the shipping on individual items of that size/weight would be a killer without the import duty/VAT

they would be dirty cheap if you didnt have the import tax and shipping on. The shipping for the pipes was $120 (£75).

The perrin stuff is quality, had loads on my Hawkeye - Intercooler, injectors, ARBs, drop links, all sorts.

Hi all

Anyone know what a set of secondhand MY11 STI wheels and tyres are worth in this day and age, was going to fit winter tyres but with the cost of said tyres and the room a set of 18's take up in the garage I may just get rid as they are in the way!!!

Bit of kerbing (done by previous owner) on a couple of wheels but good tread alround, not measured but looks like atleast 6mm with even wear.

Cheers
Arron
