I can confirm that the 200 mile trip back from Exeter this afternoon proved that buying a saloon was the right decision, looking forward to start modding tomorrow am, sun or rain!

Well here she is, loving the change, car feels so much tighter than the hatch, not sure if its due to the lower mileage but either way its great, Spec C suspension is surperb as are the Recaros.

Bulbs all swapped out so far (indicator for silvertec and sidelights for led's), wheels will go on once I have ordered my RA's as will R205 fender badges, am still looking into exhaust options though! Other plans are HT's front lip and possibly sides and rear. zun mesh and maybe a small rear lip!

Car is a 320r with an upgraded headunit (over the 320r one that is), upgraded front speakers, Pionner sub and rear camera, all dealer fit options, car was owned by the ex Marketing Director of IM.

Hope you like and will post up more in coming weeks as she changes.

cheers
Arron

Looking good

Probably feels tighter because of the minor chassis changes and the front pillow ball transverse links

Hi all

I've resurrected a H&S group buy if anyone is interested, some very good savings to be had especially on the MY11 cars if anyone is looking for a new exhaust.

Cheers

Good work arron, glad you are enjoying it. When you going to get the turni's fitted ;-)

Could you do me a favour, when you have removed the UK facia before fitting the jdm one could you take a picture of them fitted side by side on a table. Would like to see how the look and the difference between them.

Enjoy

Haha, am itching to get my Turini's on but need to wait till I order mr RA's as they are a +35 offset so will destroy the paint without them.

Will be sure to take the pics for you too.

Don, would you please do me a favour and measure the opening on your JDM radio surround. Received mine from car audio direct and fitted there is still about a 4/5mm gap round the outside of the headunit so does not look as good as I had hoped. I have since purchased a universal filler piece that I am going to try an fab up but wondered if the Subaru JDM one you have has a slightly smaller hole?

Thanks

Arron, actual size of opening is 175mm x 100mm

From the picture below there is an average gap around the Pioneer faceplate of approx 2 to 2.5mm.
However mine is positioned so the gap at the bottom is negligible and the wider gap at the top "lost in the shadows".

Cheers Don that is perfect, it looks then that the one I have its pretty similar in size to yours, will have a measure when I get home, I was probbaly just being fussy and wanted it to fit aswell as the OE surround in my hatch with the OE headunit, I guess an aftermarket headunit is never going to fit that snug!

Thanks again
Arron

Well done Mark, that‘s what we like to see, two questions.

1)What grill do you have their, or have you just had it colour coded
2)Is that the subtle option rear lip, if so is it oe and are you planning on making some ;-)

And looking forward to see what you come up with, I am already thinking it’s going to hurt my wallet!

Thanks

Hi Arron,

In answer to your questions;

1) Grill is a sports grill we manufacture.
2) Its a TS A-Line spoiler, we also manufacture.

Cheers,

Mark
