England. Kicking the **** out of the opposition, led by the Essex boy. I simply could not be happier.

I've been watching England since 1978 and we have fnally arrived at the promised land, you dont know how chuffed I am.

I have believed since 2008 this moment was possible, forget "start the car", get the fookin Personal Jesus smiley out

I dont care what anyone says we are by far the best in the world, we can bat to 10 easily and even Jimmy has a nibble every now and then. We have at least 5 class seamers who always bowl well as a pack, the best spinner in the world. What's not to like

Thank God Moores and KP had that ruck, we woldn't be discusssing this historical moment otherwise.....

Poor Sachin! All over now although I'd quite like another innings just so Ravi gets another go

Number 1 Test Team. Sounds good doesn't it.

And to make it better we've achieved it by Collecting The Ashes along the way and by hammering the current best team in the world.

True. Very true. Man of the series then was Alistair Cook, wonder if he'll get it this time?

I reckon we should get to 150 and then declare, that should send out a statement of confidence!

We're too good

Spanked the Aussies and destroyed the Indians in the space of 9 months, we need to do the same to SA next year then I will be truely satisfied

591 - they had better declare soon. Skittle the Indians out twice =win.

Too much rain to risk a draw!

I'm hoping for the same again in the pyjama Cricket, another steady well earned win today

Got me thinking how many points we should earn as a result of a 4-0 win and whether it increased our chances of rising from 5th

I kind of thought I knew how they score the rankings, 2 pts for a win and -2pts for a defeat, that was my assumption after the test series swing of 8 points for each team once trhe table was updated.

Well it's not that straightforward, should have known better than that especially with the DL system

Interesting stuff

It was an insane last hour yesterday, wickets tumbling players on and off, potential DL total changing all the time !

I'm not allowed to refer to the reason behind my sig, just in case I get another infraction

I genuinley didn't see it, I looked at the matchcard and it looked a bit interesting but it doesn't give you the full picture. For instance Bell being run out I just took as another sign of him being a ****
