It has been one long wait, jods. Please show us the pics unless you have been abducted by aliens, man.

Just downloading card to PC - will be a few mins as 470 photos to copy across - Not all of UFO though. I'll upload the best quality unzoomed shots plus zoomed in as far as I can without it getting uber-blurry.

can PM files to anyone with skills in cleaning up images

I am no good with cleaning up images etc. One of the geekozoids here may help you. I understand that photos will take some time to copy across. I look forward to see them, jods.

two mins - I'm shoite at fixing images - tried to zoom in and "autofix" washed it out

Good job I found an option to revert to original.

tbh - I'm not sure how well they'll come out on screen - please bear in mind that the zoom lens I had on cost me less than £200 (Canon 55 - 250)

Closely followed by a bright object.

Zoomed IN on this shot
The cloud structure in the bottom right of this photo gives a perspective to the following shot.

Whispy image (Camera Shake?)

Zoomed OUT - You can see the vapour trail from the airliner over to the middle right of the frame.
Bushes in foreground give some sense of scale? The cloud to the lower right should give a reference to previous zoomed in shot.

Dark Fin? - difficult to make it out in this image - You can see it in the full size file when you zoom in (link below)

Zoomed IN again to try and get a clearer shot - please bear in mind - I think there was no more than a couple of seconds between the 3 shots.

Again - Cloud structure to right hand side give a reference point.

Not the clearest photo's on the planet I grant you but it was bright enough to catch my attention!

Looking at these images - I wonder if it was the space station orientated just right to reflect the Sun??

Could be the ISS. Rewind this and see if you can see yourself looking up

get real

it would be virtuality impossible to see yourself, or anyone else for that matter -- apart from Bono, maybe but that would just be his ego reflecting back the sunlight

jods, pics in #73 and #74 are impressive. I can't open the links that you provide in #72. However, clearer pictures would have contributed towards debating that the activity was not vapour/aircraft fumes residue, ISS or some overweight, highflying seagull related. I keep an open mind about the possibility of some inferior, equal or a superior life out there, but these pictures do not provide me enough to accept that it was an alien mobeel. Expert scientific investigation of these photos is required to learn the unexplained. I'd send them to NASA for the purpose, but they are dodgey as f**k. They may even capture you for capturing those images, and send you up there to the aliens for experiment etc. Difficult one, that.

It's unidentifiable, it's flying and its an object.

If you talk of probability of life else where, odds are heavily stack against that this infinitesimally small blue dot we live on should be the only place in this vast universe able to support life.

Looks like a cloud to me. At high zoom.

Where was the setting sun and the horizon in relation, the time you took them?

Fair question.

Back garden faces South East. I took the photo at approx 45 degrees to the right of my garden. Approx 70 Degrees elevation - I think it was between 3 and 4 pm - if that helps any?

Could have been flying close to the Mintra level which means short or no contrails.

IMHO of course life occurs out there, intelligent maybe, technological hmm maybe - but the biggest issue is when. The chances of life being intelligent technologically capable of crossing vast distances *and* existing at the same time as us ....
