The 2011-2012 Man United Thread
These teams have big enough squads to play a lot more games than they eventually will. The next 5 games in the FA cup (presuming we get to the final) won't be as intense as the three for City. You're also discounting UEFA cup games and the travelling. The number of games to two teams that have just gone out of ECL is irrelevant IMO.
Listen, I support Plymouth Argyle so the situations I see going on in the Prem are something I will never have to worry about but I'll give you as foresight into why I find Man utd fans so tiresome.
A guy I work with made two comments about his team, Man Utd:-
1. 'Our training kit sponsorship with DHL is worth £xxxx million, great hey?'
2. 'Yahoo (he may not have said exactly that, but that was the emotion), we have paid off all our debts, we are solvent!'
What in Allah's name either of these things have to do with football is totally beyond me, and if he gets excited by that then he has lost focus on what should be important to the football fan on the street.
Its not just him, its a lot af them.

I suppose, but that really is negligible if you gave every team a score out of ten then divided all of them by the number of teams you play (ie. the average). I think it would be a close thing. You are both in the Alsorans League, and all the teams left are much of a muchness.

I listened to the first half on the radio in the car and after the second Utd goal the commentry team said that city fans were leaving the ground and it was only the second half
This is the difference between the two sets of fans, i drive past Cities Carrington training ground every day and there's always groups of city fans in shirts congregated around the main entrance. Where have these people been for the last few years because this has been happening only since last season when they won the FA Cup.
The old 'you only sing when your winning' springs to mind.

So frustrating isnt it?! Pasty prices at Home Park is the only financial discussion for Argyle fans. We have no actual money to spend.

When was the last time you had an eye test?
Even if he did assist all three goals which he didn't, he had one, though you could argue that he played a part in the second though technically it was Wheater who played the ball as Rooney was stumbling! he was still crap! his first touch his passing and certainly his shooting. Just where did you get your info regarding assisting all three goals? You must have been watching the tripe that is MOTD and just shows... well the HIGHlights Even SAF after the game said he wasn't playing well
When I last played football has no bearing on what actually happened during the game
