Not really, just the benefit of actually having received an education - get someone to explain (in little words) what that means for you.

"also mr fat boy the words kettle and pot spring to mind"

Fantastic bit of sparkling repartee there. It must have taken you hours to come up with that. Oscar Wilde must be spinning in his grave with envy.

Let's see if I can paraphrase that for you; " Oi Fat Boy. Yeah, what you said too, so there, nah nah nah nah nah...". Brilliant bit of work by the MCFC think tank there... not.

Shakes head sorrowfully - I expected at least a mediocre level of banter from your sort, but then Man City are masters of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory so why should I expected their great unwashed inbred followers to do any better?

Best of luck for the season. No, really.

So it's official.

Rafael da Silva has now captained Manchester United to more silverware than Cesc Fabregas has for Arsenal.

Killer football at times from United, Nani's first was a superb team goal

Petty much a continuation of our pre season style and form

Jones looked so assured, Young looked like he been in that team for years, he has had a great pre season and s it continued yesterday. Cant knock this summers signings at all.

Wellbeck is much impoved, that season at Sunderland did him the world of good, but I think the real gem will be Cleverly, again a season long loan at Wigan has really helped his progression and playing in the first team will only make him better, I expect to see a lot more of him this season.

I'm sure the EPL will be a lot tougher than Ciddy offered us yesterday but I'd like to think that we have a good chance of retaining the title, biggest challenge will come from CFC and MCFC imho.

Fine thanks

Was that the only crumb of hope you could take from the table , his distibution is better than the entire Anfield back four put together

Maybe, but he's looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights to me.
Maybe SAF thinks he'll make a good CB?

I agree, he looked like he was shrinking every time City got anywhere near the box. A good goalie is imperative, hardly a crumb. He may come good, but we could have said the same about 'shudder' Taibi!

FPMSL at the Abu's

Now comparing him to Taibi, well you can always hope

I remember Reina being woeful on corners for his first season, he turned out OK.

I'll take an educated opinion on this one http://fourfourtwo.com/news/spain/80664/default.aspx

Utd definatley have the best bunch of defenders in the league.

Smalling was brilliant at right back, and Jones looks a great buy.

The Sneijder rumours persist.

If he comes may as well give us the title now

I know he's not that small, but De Gea certainly didn't look 6ft4

Looking forward to tonights match.

Shame Modric' head isn't in the right place (signing for Chelsea by the 31st guaranteed )

2-1 to United, please
