Here, try to educate yourself.
The government needs to know the population of the country in order to govern it. In the most basic example, representation in parliament is based on the population of each constituency. If you don't know the population of each constituency, you can't represent them fairly. Knowing the demographics of each area also helps plan things like school funding, planning for social security, determining healthcare needs. The Constitution actually requires counting the population, it's not a conspiracy.

The census crap is not real, nobody has stolen a copy of it............ the real war starts here and the first team to step up is team poison. They have respect and are feared but LulzSec will sink their ship.
Team poison say they have dox on team LulzSec...... the proof will be in the eating as they say. I think LulzSec will sink team poison.

I think highlighting security issues is important, publicising private information is dangerous. Very dangerous. They need to watch that what they dont hack or DOS attack doesnt jeopardise lives otherwise they will be seen as bad guys and fall they will.
The scary thing about what they are doing, is that they are employing well known methods for hacking data, such as SQL Injecting. I cant believe that some of the security that companies provide is that weak.
If the census records have indeed been hacked (I entered mine online) then I will be (along with thousands of others) taking the Govt to court over privacy matters...
Does anyone know if the census online software was created by in-house government coders or did they use a third-party company?
