The guy in this link for another ebay special suggests his classic makes 381bhp with a TD05 and a remapped Z4...its a Version 3!

Just looked at this Ad.......... TBH, it`s not a bad Spec and quite a nice looker.... 381bhp is quite acheivable on that car....

So many photos of every angle, I couldnt really find fault anywhere. I liked It
I wished under my bonnet looked like that....

 

To be fair.................I've seen worse (but its still making my eyes bleed)

 

381bhp is achievable with a different turbo lol

well this morning i received an email.
no i dont have the printout it has been lost (theres a suprise) but as anyone knows these mods add up to 400 bhp.
come and drive it and it will be the fastest impreza you have driven!


apart from the 2 others i have owned and the one i have now which is only 350 bhp with a dyno printout lol.

In My 15 years of owning Impreza`s, I`ve never come across such an up it`s own **** bunch of rude Pratts as ScoobyNet

Differnet ECU???, Different Injectors??? Different Turbo???
TD05... He`s not quite said which variation, But an 18g or 20g is more than capable of those figures. Engine... STi Red Top (276bhp Standard)... Yellow Injectors..... Now... This advert does say he can provide the Dyno print out for this car.... So, before you try and use your stupid, childish wee just grow up and act your ages...

A Version3 STi with a TD05 18g/20g turbo, injectors, 255 f/pump and the rest of the stated upgrades with a decent Re-map holding a 1.4bar boost CAN make and is possible to produce a 381bhp dyno print out...

Actually, I`m not that interested... In the short time I`ve been on this site, I`ve noticed more arrogance here than on any other site.

Ok ill start.....for starters the yellow injectors will not flow enough fuel to make the claimed power the guy states....fact.
The guy says it has a remapped Z4 ecu, firstly the Z4 can not be remapped and secondly the Z4 was used in MY96 WRX's, the car in the link is a MY97....3 plug as opposed to a 4 plug!

So your 15 years with imprezas count for $hit...

My original reply was just my opinion... You could easily have replied in a polite, mature and reasonable manner with your own opinion and why you don`t think the parts used would make what it claims, which may have changed my view on what I was thinking. But no, you seem the need to make yourself feel superior in your supposide higher learning and knowledge to resort to a childish ....

Now, I don`t think it`s much to ask for on a website like this to expect a bit of politeness and maybe a wee bit of respect for other members

 

I will always admit when I`m wrong over something..... The seller of the Silver STi has revised his advert now.. With a power change to from 381bhp to 281bhp.....

But that doesn`t change my opinion in having polite replies, not cheap unfriendly ones.

However, I Now think that with all he`s done to it, TD05 etc, the car seems a little short changed with just a 5bhp increase on the standard 276bhp

Myself and Westalc made a comment that to make the power claimed, the car will need a few more upgrades.....ie.....atleast a different turbo, ecu and injectors.

If you want your comments to be treated in a more civilised way then post in a more civilised manner....
