Met Lord Marmaduke and Lady Susan Hussey at their home in Knightsbridge a few years ago. Know Scott Stringfellow (son of Peter). Spent a good few beery nights with Paul Heaton (Housemartins) when I was at Uni in Hull in the 80's.

Getting old now.

Sat in my dressing gown watching TV whilst discussing paying off UK Mortgage and buying a second / third house in Florida.

Sucks to be me

Ha ha ha. When I was a schoolkid, my mate was round my house after school. My sister walks in... mate goes, "John, your sister looks like Grotbags."

You should have seen the look on her head!

Keith, Liam and Leroy went to my school - Alec Hunter High, in Braintree, Essex.

I know them to look at, and they would be 'aware' lol of me (probably).

My mates used to 'jam' with them prior to them hitting the big time.

Used to quite often see Liam, Keith and Leroy knocking about in Braintree in the 90s - on a Friday night in the Boar's Head mainly. And also Keith and Liam in their various flash cars -- the coup de gras being Liam's Macca F1.

I've stood behind Steve Redgrave at the petrol station... felt like I was a oompah lumpah standing behind the green giant

I met Johnny Ball when he opened our primary school fair..got his autograph somewhere - I was only 6

Oh and I stole Heston Blumenthals car parking spot the other week, does that count?

Other half 'knows' Mark Webber, Martin Brundle, Jonathan Palmer (PalmerSport)

Shook hands with Trevor Brooking at secondary school and got his autograph.

Seen Ruth Maddox on hols in Bournemouth years ago (I was about 10-12 lol).

Got most of Ipswich Town's great early 80s squad's autographs.

Shook hands with Paul Parker at Dukes nightclub in Chelmsford, and congratulated him on England's great 1990 World Cup campaign.
