just in case the guy pay you a visit, get a tape recorder so it will record some sort of evidence. might wanna get a webcam to look after your outside property.

If it was me i would make contact with him and arrange to meet in a busy pub.
If as you say they were seperated then it is going to be hard for him to accept, this causes anger and anger, violence. Let him get it of his chest verbally and if he threatens or becomes abusive, leave.
Just be passive dont apologise just tell him straight and fair.

Remember he will feel the victim here and allow for that.Dont put up with threats.

Oh and buy a Rottweiler, works for me.

He may only be small,but lessons have been learnt by myself involving people who are smaller than me.Me being 17st4lbs of gym freak,and the opposition being 7st pi** wet thro.Its not how big you are its what you use!Not trying to rattle your cage but something to think about.Doesnt matter how big you are if someone gasses you,you go down and stay down,not nice.
Best to speak to him on the phone first,to gauge his mental state.
If he is a looney your only option is to find another bird,or do him in,you get him first and in my experience they dont come back.
If he hasent confronted you yet,my guess is that he never will,hes just tryin some mind games on you.And unfortunatly it looks like its workin.Chill till it happens and see how you get on.Either way it will be done and over with when its done,if your anything like me its the waiting for it to happen that does your head in.Id rather get it done and over with what ever the out come.

Just for info, an ordinary tape player is not admissable in court as it has the ability to be doctored and any good lawyer will just throw the evidence out. For a tape player to be admissable, it needs to be on a certain kind of tape in a certain kind of player.

Contact the police right away. Print out the emails and take them along as proof. Stress that you are seriously worried about actual harm coming to you, relatives and/or property because of the threats made.

Hopefully the police will look into it. At least you will have reported it so they will be aware if anything occurs.

 

If he wants a meet then go along (if you want to that is), but, do it at a place of YOUR choosing and I would suggest having a mate or two there, either with you or lurking nearby. Now I am not going to say "then leap on him and give him a kicking" What I am going to say is, talk to him, see what he wants, if he starts anything then you have your mates to jump in and help out if needed, plus witnesses as well.
