Thats a hard question on price as it depends on how mnay laps you do what mpg your car does ect

if you say you get 12mpg you will get 3-4 laps £70 fuel £100 laps

Mine broke down after a turbo failure on my type 25 adac brought the car back to my unit after 10 days.

 

Try to time your visits to the ring as it can get very busy. I went there a few years back at the end of August.

Hotels were full due to some events at the gp circuit and the ring was packed all day long.

Plus the track was shut more than it was open due to some rather tragic goings on with some bikers coming off and going over the barriers. Lots of cars going off aswell. Mostly Beemers though.

Well worth a visit but you have to be very patient. Saying that adrenaline kicks in and the time passes as you queue all the way down the hill to get on.

I must go again. I love it. Petrol head nirvana.

 

Most UK car recovery schemes have made the ring an exclusion zone on their Policies. If you breakdown or crash on the ring your policy will be VIOD.

ADAC is much cheaper for a whole year than just a visit with RAC & AA. it will also work in the UK. IIRC IMHO

Was a good episode, the test of the porsche vs the Nissan GTR was well done, as for the Ring I remember the female german presenter passing superbikes in her lap in a transit van on top gear, it`s all about knowing the track I guess

Crap way to end the article, sugesting if you want to do a track day go to the 'ring.

 

Its not a cheap day if you have to spend £34k on a Spec C hatch.

Having said that, i'd have that hatch over the abomination they call the WRX STI nowadays!
