Fair enough, someone on the previous page quoted £60 for the centre pipe. £21 for postage for just a centre seems a bit excessive too.

Ian,

If this GB is still on, I'm in for a 2007 Hawkeye Sti Type UK:
De-cat downpipe - £125
Centre pipe 3" (De-resonated) - £85
Plus shipping - £21?
Total £231?
Please confirm pricing

And also,
1) I presume the two new pipes will interface with the standard cat pipe between the two? and,
2) Your centre pipe will interface to the Blitz Nurspec S back box (which has 80mm nore pipe work and interfaces to the original centre section)
3) Do you supply the 4 gaskets I'll need?

Thanks,
Stew.

Hi

As far as i know , been a very strange one this one.

yes prices are correct and the standard cat pipe will fit . The only problem i can see is that the blitz exhaust has the flange in a different position i.e shorter centre and longer pipe work up the the box ( please correct me if i'm wrong ). The Turbo gasket and donut sealing ring is a main dealer but we can supply the rest at £2.50 each .

Regards

Ian

Ian,

That may explain why my motor has an aftermarket centre pipe on it already. Although I'm surprised the Nurspec S isn't a direct replacement as in the Spec S system they only do a backbox and don't offer the rest of the system!

I considered changing the centre pipe at this time to take advantage of your GB and because I intend to do a remap following this. The centre pipe that is on, is, I'm suspecting, 2.5" as its a bit thinner than the blitz pipework. It could be more hassle than its worth trying to change this centre pipe and I'm pretty sure the difference in 2.5" vs 3" in this section wont make a huge difference in BHP. The current one is de-resonated.

Here's some rough pics though I need to get under and take some measurements before I can commit to the centre pipe.

Regardless - I want the decat downpipe with at least 1 gasket to the short cat pipe. I'll run some dimensions of the centre pipe by you before deciding on that one hopefully tomorrow.

Hi

The centre pipe appears to be standard so our 3" will fit by the look of it. Best to check with measurements though . The length for a new age centre pipe is approx 49"

regards

Ian,

Haven't managed to get this motor on a ramp yet to check the dims on the centre pipe but hope to manage it this afternoon. If I can confirm the 49" centre pipe can I still purchase at the prices we agreed above in Dec? Once dims are confirmed I can give you the order immediately.

One piece de cat down pipe with 3" flat flange £195
Centre pipe in 3" £85
Jap angled back box in 3" £185

Are these still available at these prices? Is the jap angled box the same design as the scoobyworld vortex and how loud is this system, will it pass certain tracks sound levels?

Price is still OK and they are similar to the Vortex.System is loud and doubt whether it will pass any track noise test .
