Cheers Guys,

So basically get there before 10am, ensure your arms are covered for competing, full helmet? Driving Lic? and that all loose items are removed from the car.... is that it?

As for the Scrutineering whats the procedure and again times? Is there a chance you'l be turned away if your noise is over the limit db? What is the Db limit? Can you request your competing money back in an instance of being refused to compete for what ever reason?

Without trying to criticise the event, Is there any official information about itinerary, if there is can someone educate me please

Thanks,
Rob

PS Chris you must be a very fit man if your running in!!!

CLUTCH NOW REQUIRED .

Having tried to launch on the day, I soon realised that the uprated clutch just isnt taking it. My first run below nursing it of the line...

Ive a clip somewhere of the 4/5k launch, it pulled very well but with slipage, 0-60ft 1.8sec, and the NPS was failing thus loosing some valuable torque.

"WE" had to remove my slave cylinder to get it to bleed properly as it wasn't working in-situ.

You been drinking Methanol instead of burning it

It was a good day although I was hugely disappointed with the way the car handled, time to spend some Kudos on getting the car to go round corners .

Having said that it did a nice inadvertent drift on the way home whilst getting past a caravan ....

I suppose my car performed ok all round having said its still a non-finished project lol...

Well done to everyone else Yesterday, sorry I didnt get round to introducing myself in person

Who was the guy White classic with roof vent? With really small exhaust.....and the blue classic with wide arches, with Henry Smith (I think) stickers? Both looked very good drivers. Was surprised when the white classic had it's bonnet open and it look pretty much standard under there!

My car isn't run in yet, so couldn't go on. I was parked next to Mad Hammer though in the black Evo 8, which had head gasket problems, but the owner kept letting it cool down and then kept going for another run
