i fitted a few bits and while mapping it dropped a bearing , so just had a full rebuild

just need to save for bigger injectors and bigger turbo , as its only got a vf35 on at moment, so its at its limit at 350bhp that its running

be happy with 400ish on this engine , im going to get a other engine built over time but need to have a think first and decide if im keeping the p1

Good luck to you mate. I wanna get mine too 300. Would love to get it to 400 but mrs uses it in the week so not really a toy at least with 300 it will be ok as a daily driver at a good enough toy for me on a weekend!

Just looked on the diners website and there looks like there may be some dates in May where there is nothing booked in there so we could be good for getting something organised. I've not arranged something like this before and would probably make an **** out of it lol

 

I'm going to go! Looks like it will be a good event though quite how the diner sill support so many cars is a slight mystery and it's not like they can park along the A12 either!

 

Been to a few meets there, it alright , food music and lots of space. Lit up well in the evening too.

Although most owners are a bit young (good intro to "performance" cars) some examples are quite useful for what they are. Hers is around 250 bhp with a Rotrax supercharger. I've driven it and it's not half bad!
I went to the EVO meet there a couple of weeks ago and it's worth a punt as a meet venue.

I had a message from them, they said to fill in the form for when we our meet and they will get back to me.

I think we need to give a bit of notice as they seem to be booked up well in advance.

When would people like to go? I think it will need to be a meet after the first week of may as theres already meets booked up there, as well as giving people on here enough notice.

Date suggestions people? i think a midweek or something will be best

id be up for a meet at the 8ball, and they do do good burgers, however not so good when there was around 50 mini owners in there! basildon is a good meet but its a right bugger to get there in time for the run down to southend. i usually catch up along the seafront, maybe we can use this 8ball as a meeting point for others from north essex or suffolk who would like to join the possers cruise down to southend? or maybe an event all of its own,the only down side is unfortunatley the 8 ball is next to the a12 so not much in the way of possing but a nice venue, not quite ace cafe but its getting there!

 

im up for a meet, got a few mates who will tag along, as long as its a sunday/monday/tuesday or wednesday as we all work the other days.

I think the issue with the diner will be thier apparent lack of parking hence being unable to cater for bigger meets. The upcoming Banzai jap meet on the 7th for example has a lot of interest 300 + ! where they will all park is a mystery to me, not like thay can park along the A12!
