Incidentally the last test I did but never wrote about was in regards to water spray and intake cooling. We tried an aquamist system, but I found it actually hindered power when running, (jets thought to be over sized for the application), although it did bring down intake temperatures by 3-4c. However as a little test I bought a bag of ice from the Spa and dumped a load on the intercooler, reducing the temps to below ambient. I seem to remember ambient being 18c and intake temps being 8-10c on a run with ice cooling, which netted a best run of 350bhp and 370lb/ft!!

That's decent power, and another heads up for coldest air possible on intake being essential (not taken from hot engine bays)
