Micro radio-controlled Impreza....
The 'Race-Tin' cars I mentioned previously

can be modified in the following ways.
1) Add relay to boost speed.
2) Customised DC motor/Gear box.
3) Turbo kit (Electronic), (3 versions)
4) Headlights (Night racing), brake and signal lights.
5) Speed reduction circuit for easy connering (Electronic).
6) Remote Horn
7) Large variety of rims and tyres (Very similar to real sport rims)
8) Option to modified to 4WD (Big foot)
9) Various design for Antenna/battery cover and other accessories (Intercooler/Nose).
10) Suspension
There's loads of models including Scoob, 206 WRC, Evo WRC, Mini, Audi TT etc
For less than £20, these seem a better proposition to me.
If enough people are interested, I can arrange to get a load shipped over.

A little more info can be found on the Race-Tin cars here -

There's a couple of places in the UK where you can get them, but nobody seems to have the mods yet. The RRP is £20-25 here, but I think I can get them for nearer £10 + shipping. I'll have to wait for a reply from Singapore. Hopefully, they'll be able to give me some idea of prices for the mods at the same time.

Ordered mine from ProjectK on Friday at 4.30pm and I have received it this morning before I got to work and managed to put it together once I got to work (even with the full-on Jap instrux!)
Superb fun but I think I definitely need to uprate the original engine!
Whilst ProjK did't have the Impreza on their website, when I called them the guy had just had a delivery and had one in Blue, just for lucky me!!!

Mines just arrived this morning from Hong Kong
Blue bugeye with a 3 extra tyre sets (soft, medium and hard) and the 3.0 "Lucifer Rotor"
motor. Well pleased
Now, if only I could read Japanese to build the damn thing
I've ordered one off ebay, but I'll be 8uggered if I can get the paypal to work - did anyone have to wait for the code on the credit card statement? That could be a month off for me. Is there away round it? Ordered mine from Stella models - do they accept CC over the phone/fax or anything instead?
Dj Dunk,
Does your 3.0 motor work? I tried mine, but it can't turn the wheels, even if the car isn't on the ground.
I'm wondering if I got a dodgy motor.
The standard 1.0 motor is still good fun though.

Lunchie,
I got paypal to work no probs. I haven't had my first cc bill yet to enter the number. You only need to do that if you are ordering stuff more that I think it was $1,000.
Mine was also ordered through Stellmodels.
Once I filled in the details about payment on paypal I got an automatic e-mail from stella models saying it would be shipped first working day. ( hopefully that was monday so it should arrive tomorrow or saturday.)
It was the straight original no extras, if I have fun I might order the 3.0 motor, suspension and tires kit from them.
